SUMMER 2016 might seem like a long way off, but start marking your calendars now because MTV Crashes Plymouth is on its way.
Tickets for the two-day festival on the Hoe, which has become one of the city's most popular events, went on sale for the first time online at 6.30pm last night.
Last summer more than 35,000 music fans descended on the Hoe after general sale tickets sold out within just 15 minutes.
The festival, which is broadcast around the world, will return for its third year on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29.
Tickets are now available at plymouthpavilions.com/mtvcrashes and from 10am today on the Ticket Store hotline (0845 146 1460).
Calls cost 2p per minute plus your phone company's access charge.
The ticket price for each evening is £12.50, plus a booking fee of £2, and there is a limit of eight tickets per person per evening.
Alternatively, you can buy tickets for both nights together for £25, plus one £2 booking fee.
Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult on day one, and day two is for people aged 16 and over.
An MTV spokesman said: "That's right, our massive two-day live music event returns on the evenings of Thursday 28th and Friday 29th July 2016 on Plymouth Hoe and will once again see thousands of people enjoying sets from some of the biggest names in music.
"Over the past two years MTV Crashes Plymouth has seen artists like Tinie Tempah, Kaiser Chiefs, Example and Little Mix take to the stage, plus last year Club MTV took over Day 2 bringing big beats from Steve Aoki, Oliver Heldens and more.
"Plymouth City Council is partnering with Plymouth Pavilions for the sale of tickets, which can be purchased for either night or as a bundle package."
